PrivacyChoice has a long-standing commitment to helping publishers provide the best possible privacy experience for their users. Publishers play an important role in determining which third-parties have access to consumer behavioral data, and will provide their own “choice points” for users to control how their data is used. Our PrivacyWidget prototype, the first of its kind launched in 2009, established the essential framework for site-based tracking disclosure.
For these reasons we were delighted to announce today that we are working with Krux Digital in the development of a platform for websites to deliver privacy control to their users while also achieving greater data control for themselves. As part of the project, we’re also continuing to refine and extend our API set, so that the PrivacyChoice platform and brand can add value wherever users need it.
